Food Waste Friday, the Bread Crumb Edition

This was not a stellar week in the food waste department. We lost a third of a cucumber, some salad, and these two partial bottles of wine.
I kept planning to use the wine up in a red sauce or something, but never got around to it. On the bright side, I managed to use up a bunch of frozen breadcrumbs in a veggie fake-meat loaf. It evens looks like the real thing!
And it smelled like it! It was my first veggie loaf attempt, a hybrid of several faux meat loaf recipes, and it turned out well. In the future I think I will increase the mushrooms and decrease the breadcrumbs a bit if I make it again though.
